A Lightweight Carbon Fibre Dinghy

Light, practical and easy to handle.

This dinghy has the considerable advantage of a carbon fibre lay-up, making her significantly lighter than the standard GRP matting version. At an estimated 50–55 kg, she is particularly easy to launch, recover, move around ashore and store.

​

Her exact age is unknown, and she has clearly been used and enjoyed, but she has recently benefited from a refurbishment, including new gunwales and a smart white rubbing strip.

She has also been fitted with a useful wooden thwart/storage compartment in the bow, together with drainage bungs in both the bow and stern sections.

She comes ready for the water with:

• 4 joining bolts

• Rowlocks

• Pair of two-part oars

• Protective storage “shoes” to prevent damage to the bulkhead when stored upright

As a used working dinghy, she naturally carries some knocks, marks and general signs of wear, but nothing unexpected for a boat that has been put to good use.

The real attraction here is her lightweight carbon construction.
